QR codes that never expire

Most "free" QR codes stop working when a trial ends or a subscription lapses. A SortedQR code you pay for once keeps working for good.

Why QR codes stop working

A QR code itself never expires. What expires is the short link some generators put inside it. That link points to their server, and when your trial or monthly plan ends they switch it off. Every printed copy then shows an error.

Two ways to keep a code for good

  • Locked, $4.99 once. Everything is stored inside the image, so it never depends on any server, ours included.
  • Editable, $7.99 once. A short link you can change later, with no renewal fee. It stays on as long as SortedQR runs.

Is it free?

You can make any QR type free with no account. A free QR stops after 2 days and can't be brought back, so don't print it. For a code that lasts, pay once. There is nothing to cancel.

Questions

Do SortedQR codes expire?

Paid codes do not. Locked codes hold everything inside the image and Editable links have no renewal fee. Only free QRs stop, 2 days after download.

What happens if I stop paying?

There is nothing to stop paying. Both plans are one payment.

Is there a truly free QR code that never expires?

A plain static code made by any generator never expires, because it holds the data itself. SortedQR charges for the design tools, the scan check, print files and, for Editable codes, the hosted link you can change.
