Where people use them
- Counters, receipts and invoices
- Table cards in cafés and salons
- Thank-you cards in deliveries
- Email signatures
Tips before you print
- Find the link in your Google Business Profile: choose "Ask for reviews" and copy the link.
- No link? Paste your Place ID from Google's Place ID Finder instead.
- Ask in person and point to the code. A direct ask works better than a sign alone.
Google Review QR code questions
Am I allowed to ask for reviews?
Yes. Google allows asking customers for reviews. Do not offer rewards for reviews, and ask every customer, not only happy ones.
Does the customer need a Google account?
Yes. Google requires people to be signed in to leave a review.
Does a Google review QR code expire?
A Locked code never expires, because everything is stored inside the image. An Editable code has no renewal fee and keeps working. Only a free QR stops, 2 days after download.
Is it free?
You can make any QR free, valid for 2 days. To keep a code, pay once: Locked $4.99 stores everything inside the code forever, and Editable $7.99 lets you change it later and see scans. No subscription and no account.
What is the difference between Locked and Editable?
Locked puts the data inside the image. It never expires but can never change, and scans are not counted. Editable points to a link we host, so you can change it any time with your linked email and see scan stats.
